JOHN'S STORY

Purple Stride DC 2018

was a great success!

Every June, the John's Band team runs, walks, or rolls across the finish line at the PurpleStride DC 5K, a fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. This year we were able to give almost $7000 to this great organization. That means that over the years we have raised $57,000 in the fight to create a world without pancreatic cancer. You can still DONATE to our cause by clicking the button to the left. A huge THANK YOU to all who supported our efforts this year!

THE JOHN DONOHUE
MEMORIAL AWARD

The John Donohue Memorial Award, a one-time award of $1000, recognizes students who have demonstrated their commitment to the field of Classics by qualifying to renew their National Latin Exam Scholarship for all four years of undergraduate study. It is hoped that, no matter what field they pursue in the future, they will, like John, live a life enriched and inspired by all things Greek and Roman....and inspire others in turn.
